Manley Rods Economical “H” Beam Steel

Manley ”H” Beam connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to the same exacting standards developed and approved by Manley rods original equipment customers. There is a vast difference in quality between a Manley Rod "H” Beam and the "other" inexpensive H-Beams Rods on the market. Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams. Manley Rods are perfectly round big and small ends. Manley Rods bend and twist is tightly controlled.

Manley Rods H Beam

  • Manufactured from 4340 forgings
  • Heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened and 100% individually magnafluxed
  • Weight matched sets +1.5 grams
  • Cap fasteners are 3/8” ARP 2000 for the “H” Beam and 3/8” ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Plus, except part number 14017 which is supplied with 7/16” ARP 8740 for the “H”-Beam and 7/16” ARP 2000 for the H-Plus
  • Flywheel horsepower range for these rods in a 4 cylinder application is 600+ for the “H”-Beam and 800+ for the H-Plus and for a 6 cylinder application the range is 800+ for the “H”-Beam and 1000+ for the H-Plus

Manley Rods Pro Series Turbo Tuff “I” Beam Steel

Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each Manley rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards. Manley Rods signature ”Turbo Tuff” design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. Each Manley rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Manley Rod Bores are round and without taper. Manley Rods Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8” APR 2000 cap screws.

Manley I Beam Turbo Tuff Rods

  • Forged from 4340 aircraft quality vacuum degassed material (P/N 15403 is made from 300M alloy with a flywheel horsepower range of 1,400+)
  • Shot peened after machining to MIL spec and 100% individually magnafluxed
  • Specifically designed to handle high horsepower applications when using turbos and / or nitrous
  • Cap fasteners are 3/8” ARP 2000 cap screws, except part number 14427 is supplied with 7/16” ARP 2000 fasteners
  • Flywheel horsepower range for these rods in a 4 cylinder application is 1,000+ and for a 6 cylinder application the range is 1,250+
