When you need something tougher than a Power Slot rotor, but you’re not quite ready for a big brake kit, try the new Power Slot Cryo rotors. Power Slot has invested in the latest state-of-the-art equipment to offer cryogenic treatment on our Power Slot rotor line.

Deep cryogenic treatment is a one-time process that permanently improves the performance and service life of metals from brake rotors and engine parts, to machine tools and gear sets. Using a proprietary computer-controlled process, the metal is cooled gradually to -300°F and then slowly returned to room temperature and heat-cycled as the final step. Although not apparent to the naked eye, the improvements to the rotor are significant. The cryogenic treatment process redistributes residual stress in the rotor giving it an extra level of protection against warping.

The slot designs of Power Slot rotors are angled to use the rotors' direction of rotation to enhance performance. This makes them side specific with left side (driver's) and right side (passenger's) rotors.

The latest evolution of PowerSlot performance brake rotor is now available. Besides the change to a new gloss black, e-coat finish, Power Slot has added their Power Alloy metallurgy to many popular truck, SUV and sports car applications. Power Alloy provides an extra level of resistance to wear and heat checking at elevated temperatures.

All Power Slot Cryo Treated Rotors are Special Order Items that are treated after the order has been placed. Please allow 2 weeks for treament. NOTE - Cryo Rotors Can Not be Returned or Canceled Once Treated.
