Baer's AlumaSport™ brake system is a high-performance, cost-effective brake package designed to restore and improve braking performance lost due to the addition of plus-sized wheel-and-tire packages. These packages can add more than 30 pounds per corner, resulting in measurably longer stopping distances and a huge reduction in vehicle safety. Baer's AlumaSport brake system has been track-tested and road-proven to deliver performance improvements of over 20%.
AlumaSport covers all four corners with large 2-piston aluminum calipers, powder-painted red, and 14” diameter, 1-piece rotors, for performance that rivals many sports cars and sedans. The plus-sized rotors fill up the wheels and look amazing with cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed surfaces. Requires 20” or larger wheels.

The Baer Claw® SERIOUS STREET brake system is designed to fit within the smaller period-correct wheels popular on 60's and 70's muscle cars, such as '67 to '72 A-bodies and '67 to '69 F-bodies (as well as selected X-body applications). Featuring 2-piston aluminum calipers and 1-piece, 11” cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed rotors, they jazz up the looks of these older street machines while delivering the much needed braking performance of today's technology. SERIOUS STREET brake systems fit within virtually all 15” wheels (occasionally a spacer is required).
Essentially the same as the SERIOUS STREET, the SERIOUS STREET-PLUS brake system employs 2-piece rotors for overall weight reduction, enhanced performance, and a dynamic, race-car look.
Rear systems for both versions are available with 11.350” dia. rotors and PBR 1-piston calipers with park mechanism (not shown).
FRONT SYSTEM (1-piece 12” dia./PBR 2-piston PGC) Baer Claw® SPORT brake systems are designed to fit many late-model domestic and import vehicles running 16” OE wheels. Because of its great street performance and control, the SPORT system is also the rule-specified standard for SCCA's A-sedan competition. Featuring 2-piston aluminum calipers and 1-piece, 12” performance rotors, they fill out open-wheel packages and deliver serious stopping power! Cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed rotor surfaces are standard with a plain, smooth surface available upon request. Fits some 15”, many 16” wheels.

Baer Claw® TRACK brake systems are one of Baer's most popular systems. Employing 2-piston aluminum calipers and 1-piece 13” cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed performance rotors, they fill out 17” wheel packages and supercharge braking performance. The Baer Claw® TRACK-PLUS is hands down Baer's most popular system for street and light-track applications. Two-piston aluminum calipers are coupled with 2-piece, 13” rotors, taking the performance of the Baer Claw TRACK system to the next level! The secret is the 2-piece rotor design, which uses an aluminum hat to reduce overall weight. This design also allows for differential expansion of the rotor plates, reducing the ”bell effect,” lowering thermal transfer to the hub, and ultimately prolonging bearing life. The Baer Claw® GT brake system is designed primarily for late-model Mustangs and the Subaru WRX (excluding the STi). The large2-piston PBR pin-driven calipers provide increased pad volume for a measurable increase in performance. Rotors are 1-piece and come in 12.75” to 13” diameters, depending on the application. Cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-coated surfaces are standard; a smooth, plain rotor is available upon request (optional).
The Baer Claw® GT-PLUS covers a wide range of larger, heavier cars, trucks and SUVs and is a cost-effective alternative the 6-piston EXTREME-PLUS system. Featuring large 2-piston PBR pin-driven calipers and a greater pad volume, performance of these vehicles is greatly enhanced. Rotors are 2-piece and come in 12.75” to 14” diameters, depending on the application. This design incorporates an aluminum hat, reducing overall weight. It also allows for differential expansion of the rotor plates, reducing the ”bell effect,” lowering thermal transfer to the hub, and ultimately prolonging bearing life.

Baer Claw® EXTREME-PLUS brake systems deliver unparalleled performance, with durability exceeding the demands of the most serious enthusiasts. Equipped with Baer's 6S 6-piston MonoBlock calipers, EXTREME-PLUS systems are equally brilliant at the track, on the road, or simply as "icing" to complete your vehicle´s ”look”! Other manufacturers sell you the technology that they ”deem appropriate for street use,” keeping the latest and most sought after technology for ”just a few.” However, Baer lets you access all the technology necessary for the way you want to drive! Standard 6S systems are easily upgraded to 6R specifications. Both 6S and 6R employ road-going dust and weather seals and direct bolt-on upgrades for earlier Baer cast MonoBlock 6 systems.
