Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Street lightened adjustable cam gears are CNC-machined from the same lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet as the Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Race gears. Ultra Time Street gears set a new standard for accuracy and finish at a price-conscious level.

Each sprocket is adjustable +/- 10° (advance/retard) and accurate to within 1 minute of a degree (60 minutes in a degree)! Because of their design, Ultra Time Street gears are lighter than the original OEM gears, even without the lightening holes and contouring of the Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Race gears.

Another important point at this price conscious level is that tolerances on these pieces are held to .001". The tolerances between the center and outer cog is the same as the Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Race, something never before seen at this price level.

The outer cog on the Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Street gears is hard-anodized, preventing wear from the timing belt. They also utilize a 4-bolt locking pattern with stainless steel hardware. This design not only provides a stronger clamp load on the sprocket once set, it also provides a lifetime of worry-free adjustment.

Tooth profiles are extremely important when machining a sprocket. Long term reliability of the cog and belt are directly related to the machining of the tooth profi le. Our tooth profile matches exactly with the OEM specifications for each sprocket Unorthodox Racing makes.

Horsepower gains can vary widely depending on what has been done to the vehicle. Gains from 5 to 20 horsepower can be realized. In the instructions Unorthodox Racing have recommended settings for your specific vehicle. For best results on highly modified vehicles Unorthodox Racing recommends a trip down to your local dyno shop.

Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Street gears are available for SOHC and DOHC engines. Individual pieces may also be purchased for DOHC engines. Ultra Time Street gears are available in natural polished aluminum as well as black, red, and blue anodizing.

Ultra Time gears are legal for sale or use in CA only for racing vehicles which may never be driven on a public highway.
